･Lightweight forming system made of plastic
Forming system in plastic is superior to the plywood forming system because of reusability and recyclability of the material. Its translucency allows natural light into the workspace of concrete forming and other workings on construction site.
The innovative idea of this system is the design of forming panels, made of expanded polypropylene with ribs to improve the strength against the load of concrete forming. It achieves not only the lightweight forming system but also a significant reduction of manufacturing cost.
We have carried out this development in whole: designing all elements of system and castings of forming materials into panels, manufacturing a prototype of this forming system and planning a trial construction to verify the efficiency of developments.
