･A design method of integrating the conventional wooden structure with others
There has never been an established design method to conveniently and efficiently integrate the conventional wooden structure with other structural systems such as steel frame, glued laminated timber frame and others. Furthermore, regulations on hybrid wooden structure are complicated in Japan.
We have developed an implemental method to design integrated wooden houses, incorporating tools for structural calculations. It is based on the legal checking and modeling of hybrid structures. To verify hybrid structural models, the followings are carried out: seismic response analysis of three dimensional models; calculation of their horizontal load-carrying capacity; and analysis of response and limit strength.
